If you already write detailed prompts, keep that work in Smart Prompts and reuse it in Workflows, including the context, model choices, and review checkpoints.

A run holds at any checkpoint you place in it:

• Review — read what it produced before it continues.
• Input — supply something only you can give it.
• Approval — say yes before anything is written.

You remain responsible for source quality, taste, editing, and final use.

In your browser, on your machine. Koubou does not store your creative workspace on Koubou servers.

Four places are involved, and only the first holds your work:

• Browser workspace. Projects and Koubou tool data live in your browser.
• Selected AI provider. AI requests go from the browser to the provider you choose.
• Optional Google features. Selected document or backup data goes to your Google account.
• Koubou services. Koubou's servers handle account, licensing, and narrow integration functions.

Clearing your browser data deletes your workspace, and a new computer starts without it. But we've got your back.

Set up automatic backups once, and you don't have to worry about it:

• Local folder backup. Pick a folder and Koubou keeps it up to date with snapshots of your workspace and a copy of your images. Works in Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium browsers.
• Google Drive backup. Connect Drive and Koubou keeps your five most recent snapshots there. Images are not included.

Moving to a new computer? The manual download is the complete portable copy, images and all. Grab one before you switch.

For signing in, yes. For everything else, no.

• Sign-in. A Google account is required to sign into your Koubou account.
• Google Drive. Connecting Google Drive is optional and separate from sign-in.
